I am a licensed psychologist in private practice since 2003. I have practiced in residential settings, student counseling centers, community based mental health facilities and inpatient psychiatric hospitals with children, adults, and families. Prior to establishing my own office, I completed my post-doctoral training in the Trauma Disorders Program at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland.
My training and years of diverse clinical experience allow me to work with clients using various theoretical orientations including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, attachment theory, and dialectical behavior therapy. My style is to develop a collaborative, working relationship with clients in an environment that is safe and secure.
I have an engaging and supportive style that allows clients to freely process feelings and concerns, learn new techniques and symptom management skills, and gain greater self-awareness.
The process of therapy can help you learn how to actually live in the moment rather than white- knuckling it through life. If you are struggling in relationships, with school or in college, in your career or as a parent, please call today to find our more about therapy.
